Ahead of the implementation of PON XX which will be held on October 2, 2021 to October 15, 2021, the government has tightened several rules so that the implementation can be as planned. Support continues to come from both the community and religious leaders as well as Papuan leaders themselves so that the implementation of this grand national sport activity can run smoothly and successfully on the Earth of Cendrawasih Papua.
PON XX 2021 Papua raised the tagline ” Torang Bisa” which is a form of encouragement typical of Papua. The continuity of this event will show the progress of Papua’s development. The government continues to finalize the concept that will be applied, considering that PON XX is an event to show the greatness of Indonesian athletes so that they can shine on the national stage .
In addition, PON XX 2021 Papua uses a logo depicting the Papua Bangkit Stadium which is a symbol of sport on Earth of Cenderawasih. The PON 2021 Papua logo not only displays the Papua Bangkit Stadium, but also three pointed triangles that characterize the mountains in Papua.

The many icons that are highlighted in this XX PON philosophy show that Indonesia has a lot of diversity that we must take care of together. Because through the XX 2021 PON which will be held in Papua, it can strengthen the diversity and integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.
